Registration
Although registration is open year-around, tryouts for team placement for under fourteen boys and girls, as well as high school girls are held in June while high school boys tryouts are in November. If you are interested in joining at any time please contact our registrar, director of coaching, or the individual team's coach for information.
Athletes are placed on a team according to their age and ability as determined by the head coach. Age requirements are determined by CYS according to the birth year of the player. For instance, in order to qualify for a U12 team (under 12), a player's birth date will fall between 8-1-1998 and 7-31-1999. Although this date deliniation is consistent throughout all age groups, under certain circumstances players will be allowed to play up in age, but never down.
Required Forms
The following documents must be completed and submitted to your head coach or team manager. A player must be apporoved by CYS before he/she will be allowed to participate in CYS sanctioned events and games.
- wallet sized photograph for a player ID card
- Player signature on ID card to be laminated
- copy of his/her birth certificate (only needed once/life)
- completed copy of the CYS Player Membership Form
