Paolo DelPiccolo, of Wheat Ridge High school and is part of the Wheat Ridge Avalanche family, made Honorable mention ALL-STATE
as a Sophomore
Congratulations to the U-13 Boys Gold who finished 2nd at the Colorado Open. After wining their 1st three matches, they faced Rush Swoosh in the semis winning 3-2 in a shootout following two overtime periods. Two hours later they matched up against Pride Fusion and dropped a hard-fought exhausting match 2-1. Their success has qualified the team for an automatic invitation to participate in next springs State Cup Tournament. The boys will be proudly representing Wheat Ridge as one of the states top 16 teams. The team was coached by Aldo DelPiccolo, Jay Hamilton, & Paul Koentges
